Terms and Conditions

Love Circular is the operating name of the company registered with Companies House (company number: 12542839).

Any course or bootcamp you are enrolling onto may be referenced to as ‘programme’ or ‘course’.

  1. Code of Conduct
    1. When enrolling on one of our courses, we expect that you (the learner) read, understand and follow our code of conduct.
    2. Love Circular reserves the right to ask you to leave the programme with immediate effect, if you (the learner) fail to comply with our code of conduct.
  2. Intellectual Property
    1. All lectures, teaching materials and other resources provided are the intellectual property of Love Circular, and are not to be recorded and/or redistributed without permission in writing from the CEO, Zaire Allen. Any requests of such nature should be directed in an email to [email protected].
  3. Delivery of Programme
    1. Love Circular will provide you with tuition, learning materials and opportunities and other related services which will lead to the completion of the course, subject to your attendance and successfully fulfilling the requirements of your modules. Specific details relating to the delivery of your Programme will be provided before or at the time of your enrolment on your Programme.
    2. Where circumstances change outside of Love Circular's reasonable control, Love Circular reserves the right to make changes to or cancel certain elements of or the entirety of the Programme at any time without liability to you. Circumstances falling outside of the Love Circular control shall include but not be limited to acts of God, industrial action or disputes (including action or disputes involving the Love Circular employees), over or under demand from students, staff illness, lack of funding, extreme or severe weather, fire, malicious damage, flood, natural disaster, war, terrorism, civil disorder, political unrest, explosion, national emergencies, government restrictions, failure of a utility service, transport or telecommunication network, default of third party suppliers and subcontractors and concern with regard to the transmission of serious illness (event beyond Love Circular control).
    3. Any times quoted for programme delivery are United Kingdom times. The United Kingdom uses Greenwich Mean Time or Western European Time (UTC) and British Summer Time or Western European Summer Time (UTC+01:00).
  4. Confidentiality
    1. You undertake to keep confidential and not disclose to any third party, or use yourself (other than for the purposes permitted under or in accordance with this Agreement), any: confidential or secret information in any form directly or indirectly belonging or relating to the Love Circular, or its business or affairs and whether disclosed by the Love Circular organisation and received by you or otherwise gathered by you and whether or not such information has been developed, modified or improved; any issues which you have experienced or are experiencing at the organisation or in relation to your Programme; any disciplinary or investigative proceedings; the terms of this Agreement; anything else which Love Circular notifies to you as being confidential from time to time, (Confidential Information).
    2. These confidentiality obligations shall survive the expiry or termination of this Agreement for any reason, but shall not apply to any Confidential Information which: is publicly known at the time of disclosure; or becomes publicly known otherwise than through a breach of this Agreement by you; or can be proved by you to have reached you otherwise than by being communicated by Love Circular including being known to you prior to disclosure, having been developed by or for you wholly independently of Love Circular, or having been obtained from a third party without any restriction on disclosure on such third party of which you are aware, having made due enquiry; or d. is required by law, regulation or order of a competent authority (including any regulatory or governmental body or securities exchange) to be disclosed by you, provided that, where practicable, Love Circular is given reasonable advance notice of the intended disclosure.
    3. You shall not use any of Love Circular Confidential Information for any purpose other than to perform your obligations under this Agreement
  5. Privacy
    1. Your privacy is critical to us. We respect your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation with regard to your personal information.
    2. These Terms and Conditions should be read alongside, and are in addition to our policies, including our privacy policy and cookies policy that can be found here.
    3. For the purpose of there Terms and Conditions:
      1. ‘Data protection Laws’ means any applicable law relating to the processing of Personal Data, including, but not limited to the Directive 95/46/EC (Data protection Directive) or the GDPR.
      2. ‘GDPR’ means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
      3. ‘Data Controller’, ‘Personal Data’ and ‘Processing’ shall have the same meaning as in GDPR.
    4. Where you supply Personal Data to us so we can provide Services and Goods to you, and we Process that Personal Data in the course of providing the Services and goods to you, we will comply with our obligations imposed by the Data Protection Laws:
      1. Before or at the time of collecting Personal Data, we will identify the purposes for which information is collected;
      2. We will only Process Personal data for the purposes identified;
      3. We will respect your rights in relation to you Personal Data; and
      4. We will implement technical and organisational measures to ensure your Personal Data is secure.

  6. Location of delivery
    1. Classes are delivered remotely, online.
  7. Attendance, performance and outcomes
    1. By enrolling on any of our courses, you are committing to attend 100% of classroom sessions - with the exception that Love Circular is notified of absence in advance of the session and the reason for absence is deemed reasonable by Love Circular (such as illness, compassionate leave, carers leave, or other events beyond your control).
    2. Outside of classroom sessions, you are expected to spend an additional 5-10 hours a week studying the material set by your teaching team.
    3. Love Circular reserves the right to ask you to leave the programme if attendance and/or performance is dissatisfactory or goes against our Code of Conduct.
    4. Love Circular makes no guarantees of course outcomes, including employment. Any previous outcomes stated on the website or elsewhere by Love Circular are specific to previous students of Love Circular and not deemed to be representative of outcomes for future cohorts.

Refund Policy

  1. Non-refundable deposit
    1. Deposits are non-refundable, except at the discretion of Love Circular. When reserving a course through the provision of a deposit (typically 10% of the total product fee), an email will be issued by Love Circular within 3 days (72 hours) requesting direct debit instruction or the supply of a signed and completed company invoice form. If no such instruction or form is received within 7 days (168 hours) of the initial deposit provision, Love Circular reserves the right to cancel the booking without a refund.
    2. On the aforementioned payment methods, the deposit balance paid towards your course fees is deemed to be non-refundable. In the event that you don’t commence on the course on the selected start date, you leave the course early regardless of circumstance, or Love Circular asks you to leave the course on reasonable grounds of attendance and/or and there is a decision at the discretion of Love Circular to partially refund, any amount to be refunded will exclude this non-refundable deposit.
    3. If you are applying for the course through our finance partner and/or Love Circular choose not to grant finance, then you will be eligible for a refund of the 10% deposit amount.
    4. We reserve the right to refund this amount to you within 10 working days.
  2. Early withdrawal from the course and refunds
    1. We offer a cooling-off period of 14 days from the date of purchase and on the condition the bootcamp has not yet commenced. All refund requests are to be made in writing via email to [email protected], clearly stating your name, the title and date of the course or workshop to be refunded, and the reason why.
    2. Upon receipt of this request, you will lose access to the course and our community and your balance will be refunded.
  3. Deferral
    1. If during, or prior, to the course start date you would like to suspend or withdraw from your studies we ask that you do so by filling in our Deferral Form. If you do not hear back from us within 48 hours, please contact us via [email protected]. All deferral requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
    2. If you withdraw from your studies or are asked to leave the course, you may be eligible for a partial refund based on how long you have been on the course. The non-refundable deposit is not refundable under any circumstance other than where mentioned elsewhere in these terms and conditions.
  4. Cancellation Policy
    1. Up to 14 days from purchase date:
      1. The learner is entitled to the total course fee (minus the 10% non-refundable deposit).
      2. The learner is entitled to withdraw from any payment plan Credit Products for any reason by notifying the finance provider directly, alongside Love Circular.
      3. If the learner does withdraw from the Credit Product in this period, they will still have to pay Love Circular for the course by another means (e.g. their own funds) if they wish to still be enrolled.
    2. Up to 5 weeks of cohort start date:
      1. The learner is entitled to a 40% refund (if the learner has made contact before the 5-week mark).
      2. If the learner has signed a Credit Product agreement (with Knoma, Quotanda, or StepEx), any monies owed back to the Learner will be deducted from the outstanding balance with the finance provider. After this has been deducted, the learner will continue to pay the outstanding balance of their Loan Contract to the finance provider.
    3. Week 5 to end of the course:
      1. The learner is not entitled to a refund.
      2. If the learner has signed a Credit Product agreement (with Knoma, Quotanda, or StepEx), they will still need to repay the outstanding balance of their Loan Contract owed to the finance provider.
    4. Any refund amount will be capped at the total balance paid to Love Circular by the student minus the non-refundable deposit. Should this amount be negative, Love Circular reserves the right to collect this amount from you (the learner).
    5. If an agreement is made between you (the learner) and Love Circular to defer your enrolment and transfer you to a later start date, you may be subject to any difference in course fees, and you may be expected to adhere to any changes in made to the student terms and conditions prior to the updated course start date.
    6. You are obligated to pay your full course balance, and Love Circular reserves the right to pass any outstanding balance to a debt collection agency and can take legal action if payments aren’t made on time or in full by the end of the course.
  5. Money-back guarantee
    1. Love Circular stands by the quality of service provided and will offer a full refund if the learner does not land a role within six months of submitting their final work of submission (only applicable to bootcamps commencing after 01/12/2022). To be eligible for a refund, the learner must meet all of the following terms:
      1. You (the learner) signed up to join a bootcamp taught by an instructor with weekly classes, and not an asynchronous course.
      2. You (the learner) are 18+ years old.
      3. You achieved 100% attendance with no missed classes throughout your bootcamp.
      4. You submitted all bootcamp homework tasks on time (i.e. all homework that was tasked to you by your instructor was completed in time for your next class).
      5. Your final work of submission (including your portfolio and case studies) was submitted within the deadline provided.
      6. You completed your portfolio and career modules within the deadline provided.
      7. You did not land a role in employment (full-time, part-time, or worker) or self-employment (contracting or freelancing) within six months of submitting your final work of submission.
      8. You can provide proof of at least one job application per day for six months since the submission of your final work. The job applications must not be ‘quick’ or ‘easy’ apply applications. The proof provided must include full job applications (e.g., answers to application questions you submitted).
    2. If you are eligible for our money-back guarantee, please contact us with all of the information requested in section 5.a - Money-back guarantee by emailing [email protected], and we will review your refund request within 30 days.
      1. Should your request be successful, you will be refunded the purchase price, minus a processing fee (10% of the purchase price), to the original payment method within 30 days of success confirmation.
